Treatment 03
Low-Dose Naltrexone
Naltrexone is a medication classified as an opioid antagonist, originally introduced in 1984. At standard doses (50 mg), it is used to block opioid drugs from binding to opioid receptors.
In the 1990s, physicians began prescribing much lower doses of naltrexone to help regulate the immune system and manage inflammatory and neurological conditions. This approach is known as Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) therapy.
If you are currently taking opioid medications, speak with your healthcare provider or pharmacist before considering LDN therapy.
